TAMPA, FLA. – The largest renovation in Tampa’s Convention Center history is currently underway. The $38 million renovation, known formally as the Capital Improvement Plan, will hopefully create a better customer experience, major cost savings, and increased efficiency when it comes to events.
Improvements that are scheduled include new and renovated rooms and open areas for meeting space, new paint, new décor, and a brand new style overall. Also included in the reno is a much-anticipated noise cancellation wall so that events and meetings can occur at the same time with no interruptions.
The final blueprints see 16,000-square-feet of additional space split between two floors and 18 meeting rooms.
Waterfront meeting rooms will also be included, but will offer more of a flex style meeting area for companies.
