Welcome to PNW Sports! Snohomish County, Wash. Located in northwest Washington State, nestled between the sparkling blue waters of the Salish Sea and the rugged, snow-capped peaks of the Cascade Mountains, Snohomish County begins 15 miles north of Seattle, a little under 120 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and a short ferry ride away from the Olympic Peninsula.


PREMIER SPORTS DESTINATION – Snohomish County has top-notch venues to host your event. Choose from Angel Of The Winds Arena, Meadowdale Athletic Complex, Walt Price Fitness Center, Lake Tye Park, Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort, and Snohomish Sports Dome.

Angel Of The Winds Arena is home to the Western Hockey League Everett Silvertips Hockey team. The arena has two NHL-size ice rinks with a seating capacity of 8300. A 13,000-square-foot conference center is in the same building which offers additional meeting space for any sporting events. The arena has hosted 2008 & 2018 Skate America, 2012 & 2016 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships, 2017 USA Curling National Championships, 2019 U.S National Junior Team Training Camp, and 2020 Fed Cup BNP by Paribus Qualifier. The WNBA Seattle Storm played at the Arena in 2019. In June 2022, the ACL Pro Shootout & Open Series will come to the Arena, June 24th – 26th. In August 2022, Street League Skateboarding will be here August 13th-14th.

Meadowdale Athletic Complex, located in Lynnwood, Wash., has two all-turf synthetic multipurpose fields and three all-turf synthetic infield softball/baseball fields. The playfields can host youth baseball, girls fastpitch, and adult softball tournaments year-round. The multi-purpose fields are lined for soccer and lacrosse. The sports complex host USSSA adult tournaments, Perfect Games Northwest baseball tournaments, and NSA of Washington fastpitch tournaments annually.

Walt Price Fitness Center at Everett Community College is a 2200 seat-capacity gymnasium which can host a variety of sports events including gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, and powerlifting.  With over 1000 parking spaces on campus and restaurants in walking distance, the Walt Price Fitness Center is a great venue for any youth sports tournament. The venue has hosted the NWAC Men & Women Basketball Championships, USA Gymnastics Region 2 Men’s Championships, and USA Gymnastics Washington State Championships. In March 2022, the NWAC Men & Women Basketball Championship returns.

The uniqueness of Lake Tye Park provides an array of sporting events that can be hosted at the park. The park has a 42-acre lake which has hosted Pro Wakeboard Tours and World Wake Association Wakeboard Nationals over the last 10 years. The park has been home to the USA Triathlon Youth & Junior Elite Race Series since 2011 and Lake Tye Triathlon since 2010. In 2021, the soccer fields were renovated to multi-purpose turf fields.

Disc golf is becoming a popular sport in Snohomish County. Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort is a dedicated disc golf course. Currently, there are three courses open: Purple (beginner), Red (intermediate), and Gold (pro). In 2021, Kayak Open Disc Golf Tournament was held at the disc golf resort. A record 312 players competed in the two-day event. The disc golf resort has several tournaments slated throughout the year including the Kayak Open Disc Golf Tournament on July 16-17, 2022.

Snohomish Sports Dome, located in Snohomish, is an indoor soccer arena with a restaurant in the same building. The sports dome has hosted array of sports tournaments in the last two years. Emerald City Cornhole hosts monthly American Cornhole League (ACL) Regionals. Snohomish County Steelheads men and women indoor teams calls Snohomish Sports Dome home. FUJI Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu held a tournament in November 2021 and have three tournaments slated for 2022.

SERVICE – From volunteer recruitment to grant applications, we exist to better serve you. Snohomish County provides a variety of opportunities for sports event planners to bring their event here. The Sports Commission team will help event planners with funding opportunities, event services and logistics, hotel accommodations, and venue selections to make your event successful. You’ll be sure to find something that’s new and exciting for the whole family.

Experience interactive aviation and history of the Boeing Company at the Boeing Future of Flight. Make your own Funko Pop and take a photo with a giant character at Funko in downtown Everett.

Discover Snohomish County’s miles of shoreline, peaceful lakes and streams, natural scenic beauty, and plenty of outdoor adventure: river rafting, float trips, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, biking, hot air ballooning, etc. If adventurous activities or the great outdoors don’t entice, maybe shopping at Seattle Premium Outlets or Alderwood Mall or visiting the antique capital of the west in historic downtown Snohomish is more your flavor.
