HBC Event Services Hire Zach Ebarb as Senior Sales Manager

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – HBC Event Services, a leader in sports travel management, announced the hiring of Zach Ebarb to assist in leading the organization’s sales efforts. In his role as Senior Sales Manager, Ebarb will be tasked with prospecting potential clients, cultivating relationships, and moving prospects through the sales funnel. He will also assist with the implementation of the chief marketing and sales strategies, and driving product development.

Zach Ebarb from Visit Baton Rouge has now joined the team at HBC Event Services.

He knows our product, having worked with HBC in his previous role with Visit Baton Rouge. He’s going to play a vital role in how HBC moves forward and expands our sales reach within the industry.”

Ebarb joins HBC from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where previously he worked for over five years at Visit Baton Rouge as the National Sports & Convention Sales Manager. During his time at the DMO, the sports market was able to successfully grow room night production year over year. Ebarb built strong relationships with rights holders and community stakeholders in order to not only retain long-standing annual events, but increase brand recognition through the addition of many new events. Visit Baton Rouge was recognized as Sports ETA’s 2019 Sports Tourism Organization of the Year under Ebarb’s leadership.

Ebarb will join as the Senior Sales Manager.

Ebarb is a graduate of Northwestern State University (Natchitoches, LA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism. He is a member of the Sports Event and Tourism Association, past Chair of Team Louisiana, and a graduate of the Louisiana Tourism Leadership Academy.
