DADE CITY, FLA- Snowcat Ridge, Florida’s only snow park during the winter, has officially reopened for the 2021-2022 season in Dade City. This will be the second season that Snowcat Ridge has been open, and this time, it will feature new attractions.
The park, in addition to the already built 400-foot-long snow tubing hill and 10,000-square-foot indoor snow filled playing area, has not added an ice skating rink and private igloos available to rent.
During its first season of operations, Snowcat Ridge had a rough start. The park, according to officials, experienced a snow shortage right after opening due to supply demands from the pandemic. Officials say that at the time of opening, they “misestimated” the amount of snow that would be needed to run the facility—an issue that has been fixed and ready to go for this season.
The park plans to stay open well into March according to their website, snowcatridge.com, with ticket prices starting at $26.95.
Parking at the park however is a set rate at $15 per vehicle.
Snowcat Ridge is the perfect place to take your crew if you have a sporting event in sunny Florida to experience a “white winter” or a “white Christmas.”
