SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wa. – Active at Altitude, organizers of the US Trail Running Conference has announced the 10th edition of the conference will be held in Snohomish County, Wa., in the city of Mukilteo, October 19 – 22, 2022.
Snohomish County, located in northwest Washington State just 15 miles north of Seattle and 120 miles south of Vancouver, B.C., is nestled between the sparkling blue waters of the Salish Sea and the rugged, snow-capped peaks of the Cascade Mountains. This will be the first time in the event’s 10-year history that the Pacific Northwest will play host to the event.
According to a media release, the Conference provides high quality content, innovative perspectives, networking and actionable practices to help race directors create and develop successful trail races and to help trail runners learn tips and techniques to further enjoy and excel in the sport. The Conference is held in partnership with the American Trail Running Association.
Registration is open for race directors, with early bird pricing available until February 14, 2022.
The race director segment of the Conference will take place at Rosehill Community Center, Mukilteo, and enjoys beautiful views along with the superb facilities this area has to offer. The venue has floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning views of Possession Sound and Whidbey Island in Puget Sound. Details of the location for the final trail runner day of the event will be released in the near future. Informal trail runs will take place at nearby locations.
