JACKSON, Miss. – On May 10, the Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) will host a one-day virtual event, “Risk in Today’s Volatile and Uncertain World: Conversations, Ideas, and Innovations to Create a Safer World.”
This will be an interactive program focusing on the changing dynamics and psychosocial impacts of managing events and venues in uncertain times. All speakers are leaders in the international sports and entertainment industry, and each will focus on how both theoretical and practical aspects are being re-examined and re-imagined.
“Managers and leaders must thoroughly rethink the way in which they work and how the future audience will now consume live sport and entertainment,” said Lou Marciani, director and co-founder of IIFX. “We understand everyone is operating within a considerable gray area. We hope to help our audience gain clarity through these experts.”
After the program introduction, four sessions will take place with a question and answer segment at the end. Audience members will be able to share current ideas and question the presenters about changes in their theory and practice.
Dr. Chris Kemp of Mind Over Matter Consultancy, an organizer of the event, “COVID-19 has made us all constantly aware of living in a crisis bubble. But it has also made us lazy as we have started to either deny the existence of or forget the breadth of other risks that surround us.”
This event is designed for professionals at any level who are engaged in public health, safety, security, and sports and entertainment as an educational learning experience that enables those with burning questions to ask them. The event is offered for $49 to IIFX subscribers and $99 to non-subscribers. The $99 non-subscriber registration includes a complimentary 1-year subscription to IIFX.
