Dynasty Sports Performance 2023 programs to be sponsored by Adidas

OWENSBORO, Ky. – A training program for student-athletes founded by former pro footballer DaMarcus Ganaway is expanding this year.

According to the Owensboro Times, Dynasty Sports Performance (DSP) will be offering group and private training beginning in March, with sponsorship from sporting goods brand, Adidas.

The article reports DSP will also be bringing back its Heat Travel Basketball Club, which will allow selected athletes to showcase their skills and promote the sport outside of Owensboro.

“There are so many more reachable opportunities for athletes,” Ganaway told The Times. “We want to provide modern training, verifiable data, and use our resources to enhance opportunities for athletes in Owensboro comparable to what they see happening in many markets.”

According to the article, the opportunities Ganaway is referring to include expanding DSP Elite Travel 7v7 Club, which focuses on skill position players such as quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers.

The program will include seven multi-day sporting events, sponsored by Adidas, as well as five Adidas-sponsored basketball events, to be held at the Owensboro Convention Center and the Owensboro SportsCenter. In addition, there will also be a nationally recognized 7v7 tournament that will take place at Kentucky Wesleyan College’s Steele Stadium, and an offensive/defensive lineman camp that will have NFL trainers and NCAA/local high school coaches in attendance.

As reported by the local newspaper, Owensboro Convention Center general manager Jeff Esposito says the city and facility will “roll out the red carpet” for athletes and their families. Oklahoma Sooner starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel will be involved with the program as well this year.
