
BLAINE, Minn. – The National Sports Center (NSC) has announced the Target 2023 USA Cup will take place from July 14 to July 22.
The event will feature more than 1,050 teams, represented by approximately 16,000 youth players, participating in the eight-day event.
According to a media release, throughout the week, there will be several activities across the campus to keep players “nourished, replenished, and entertained throughout the eight days.” There will be several partners bringing activities to engage with players.
“Having the world unite here in Blaine is always a special time for us. Our great partners, Target, Adidas, and Minnesota United FC, help to make the experience off the soccer pitch memorable for these players. We truly believe they are making memories that will last a lifetime,” says Todd Johnson, NSC executive director.
The official opening ceremony will kick off on July 18th with a parade followed by live music and fireworks.
The National Sports Center is one of the world’s largest amateur sports facilities, operating over 100 unique programs and events in a variety of sports as well as hosting numerous national and international competitions. The facility boasts an annual attendance of more than four million visitors each year. In addition to being the home of Minnesota United FC, the NSC houses the offices of Twin Cities Rush Soccer.
