
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – The owners of the new Powerhouse Sports Complex in Niagara Falls, N.Y. want it to provide a positive space for local youth.
The sports complex, which celebrated its grand opening in late October, is owned by Jerry Puleo, Anthony Ruffolo, and Zach Casale. All three are fathers of teenagers who play in local baseball leagues.
As reported by The Niagara Gazette, Puleo, Ruffolo, and Casale invested $800,000 to convert the building into a sports complex.
According to the article, Powerhouse Sports Complex includes 9,000 square feet of training and training space, batting cages, a fitness center, and a longue for players and parents. Although focused mainly on baseball, athletes from other sports are welcomed at the complex.
Puleo and his partners have also taken over operations of a local Little League and renovations to ball diamonds at Packard Court.
He told The Gazette his long-term goal is to “help put Niagara Falls on the national and even international map for major youth baseball tournaments.”
