MIAMI, Fla.— The Brady Hunter Foundation donated a grant to Little Haiti FC (LHFC) to support the organization’s not-for-profit initiative, which provides children in underserved communities in central Miami and the surrounding neighborhoods with free access to a youth soccer program.

LHFC is renowned for its commitment to training youth beyond just soccer skills. It emphasizes character building, academic support, and community engagement. The club provides mentorship and leadership opportunities, helping players grow both on and off the field. Its holistic approach has fostered a strong sense of community, sportsmanship, and discipline among its members, preparing them for success in various aspects of life.

“This grant is a testament to the power of community partnerships and the positive impact they can have on our youth. I am honored to be part of this event and to support Little Haiti FC in its mission to provide valuable opportunities for young people in Miami. Together, we are investing in a brighter future for our city’s children,” says City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez.

The proceeds of the grant will be used to purchase new team uniforms, update patches for existing uniforms, pay entry fees for the players to compete in tournaments, purchase essential soccer equipment, and provide access to training events.  The proceeds of the grant will also be used to beautify the walls surrounding soccer field by commissioning a mural by local Haitian artist, Serge Toussaint.

“We are deeply grateful for the generous support from the Brady Hunter Foundation,” says Gomez Laleau, president of Little Haiti FC. “This grant will significantly enhance our program and provide our players with the resources they need to thrive. We’re excited to showcase the new uniforms, the mural, and to have Mayor Suarez join us for this special event.”

“We are thrilled to support Little Haiti FC and their incredible work, both on and off the field,” says Josh Fox, founder of the Brady Hunter Foundation. “This grant is more than just financial support; it’s an investment in the future of these young athletes. We look forward to celebrating this partnership and seeing the positive impact it will have.”
