PALM BEACH, Fla.—More than 50 teams of professional firefighters, paramedics, military, and federal personnel competed at the inaugural 2024 Palm Beach First Responder Games. The Olympic-style event held last June was a monumental gathering, bringing more than 3,500 first responders from across the nation to compete in a wide range of strenuous sports games like basketball, soccer, golf, ice hockey, baseball, softball, and more.

These dedicated individuals participated in a wide range of games showcasing their strength, camaraderie, skills, teamwork, and athleticism.

Each of the 42 different events brough their own thrills and challenges. Participants came from as far away as New York and some of their families were also present to witness the games firsthand.

It was a great opportunity for the teams and first respondents to make new friendships and network. The First Responder Games did an incredible job of spacing out each game, giving everyone an opportunity to participate.

The event generated revenue for the local community of Palm Beach County by utilizing top-notch sports venues, providing a spectacular backdrop for the games, and ensuring a memorable experience for both the participants, spectators, and their families.
