MILWAUKEE, Wisc. –The Wisconsin Center expansion is set for a 2024 opening, but the Wisconsin Center District (WCD) could not wait until then to give everyone a sneak peek inside.
A new flythrough video lifts the expansion renderings off the page and into virtual reality, taking viewers inside the soon-to-be expanded facility.
“Groups have already booked events in the expanded convention center, and we have received a lot of interest from organizers interested in hosting their events in the new space,” said Leslie Johnson, vice president of sales for VISIT Milwaukee. “We are strongly encouraging meeting, convention, and event planners to start making plans today to secure the newly expanded Wisconsin Center for their events in 2024 and beyond.”
With a planned Q1 2024 open date, the expanded Wisconsin Center will have more than 480,000 square feet of total convention center space, including 300,000 contiguous square feet of exhibit space, 52 meeting and breakout rooms, a rooftop ballroom with seating for 2,000, an outdoor terrace, and spectacular city views.
