Mark Jeanneret re-elected as chair of PA Sports executive committee

ERIE, Pa. – Mark Jeanneret, executive director of the Erie Sports Commission, was recently unanimously re-elected to serve as chair of PA Sports, the agency for sports tourism in the state, for a second two-year term.

Jeanneret has played a role as a PA Sports committee member since 2013 and previously served four years as treasurer of the organization.

Also unanimously elected to the PA Sports executive committee for two-year terms were vice chair, Danielle Vincenti, director of business development for Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority; treasurer, Perry Latimer, sports sales manager, Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau; secretary, Nicole Waligora, sports tourism program coordinator, Visit Johnstown; and past chair, Gregg Cook, executive director of Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority.

PA Sports works to attract and host international, national, regional, and local sporting events in Pennsylvania. The organization consists of 13 of the state’s largest destination marketing organizations (DMOs) and sports commissions, offering sports event planners resources from a wide range of indoor and outdoor facilities.
