NAPLES, Fla. – Lasso Safe has announced that Omar Woodard has joined the company as a philanthropy advisor.
Woodard will work with the board, management team, and donors to develop and execute a philanthropic vision and strategy that ensures the organization’s long-term sustainability as it expands the Lasso Safe-certified designation around the globe, a media release states.
Lasso Safe is a nonprofit organization that developed and operates an independent verification program and a recognized standard for the research, education, and certification of high-performance youth, amateur, and Olympic-level sports communities.
“We are excited to have someone of Omar’s expertise to join our team at Lasso Safe. He will be a resource for our board and management team as we continue to scale Lasso Safe’s impact in sports communities everywhere,” says Pamela Minix, CEO and co-founder of Lasso Safe.
“Omar’s significant experience in philanthropy and nonprofit fundraising will enable Lasso Safe to expand participation in our sports wellness platform to even more communities across the U.S., making sports safer and empowering athletes to be their best selves,” says Luis Hernandez, co-founder of Lasso Safe and a six-time national figure skating champion.
