SALT LAKE CITY, UT. – PGA Tour golf will return to Utah with the 30th edition of the Utah Championship this summer.

Korn Ferry Tour will come to Farmington’s Oakridge Country Club for the fifth straight year from August 2 to 8.

“The Utah Championship has established a great heritage in Utah with the Korn Ferry Tour and its predecessor tours dating back to 1990,” said Utah Sports Commission president and CEO Jeff Robbins.

Robbins anticipates spectators will once again be welcomed at Oakridge Country Club. The move of the traditional June dates for the Utah Championship to August will aid organizers in making the event have in-person attendance.

While last year’s Utah Championship was played without spectators, it was the first Korn Ferry Tour event during the pandemic to be televised live. Details on the 2021 television plan will also be announced later.

The 2020 Utah Championship came down to a three-golfer playoff, including hometown competitor Daniel Summerhays playing in his final professional event. Kyle Jones picked up his debut Korn Ferry Tour win with a birdie on the second playoff hole.
