PENSACOLA, Fla.— Runners take note. If you want to be a part of the 2026 Pensacola Double Bridge Run, you’d better register soon to avoid disappointment. Registration is surging for the 2026 edition, with more than 2,300 participants from 43 states already signed up, and organizers say the race is on track to sell out.
Hosted by Pensacola Sports, the race is set for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026. The 15K course starts in historic downtown Pensacola inside Blue Wahoos Stadium and spans two bridges over Pensacola Bay and the Santa Rosa Sound, finishing on Pensacola Beach. A 5K option begins in Gulf Breeze and also ends on the beach, providing an accessible distance for walkers, families, and first-time participants.
“The Double Bridge Run is a legacy event for us,” says Pensacola Sports president Ray Palmer. “We welcome elite athletes who travel great distances to compete, but the race is equally beloved by our local and regional running community. Seeing such strong early demand is incredibly exciting, and we hope to accommodate everyone who wants to be part of this iconic event.”
Runners can expect music along the course, enthusiastic volunteers, and a festive beachfront finish line celebration at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. Each participant receives a long-sleeve tech shirt and a commemorative finisher medal.
Organizers say registrations are trending ahead of previous years, and runners are encouraged to sign up soon to guarantee a spot at the starting line.
In addition to the race, visitors are invited to explore Pensacola’s walkable downtown, coastal cuisine, historic sites, and world-famous beaches.
