ROSEVILLE, Calif. – Ground has broken on a 51-acre sports complex to be located in Roseville, Calif.
Construction on the Roseville Soccer Complex is now underway, with completion expected in early 2025.
According to a report from abc10.com, once finished the complex will feature 10 artificial turf fields, an accessible playground, a picnic area, and concessions.
According to the article, Roseville city manager Dominick Casey said in a statement, “The Roseville Soccer Complex will not create a space for athletes to excel but will foster a sense of community.”
Local officials believe the facility will attract more sports tourism to the city and allow it to host more large tournaments. Other than soccer, the complex will be suitable for flag football, rugby, field hockey, and lacrosse.
