The months of October and November are shaping up to be full of sports competition for Round Rock, the Sports Capital of Texas. For the second consecutive year, Round Rock will host the Big 12 Soccer Championship beginning October 30. Spanning over three days, eight teams from 10 universities will compete for the championship trophy.
On October 22nd and 23, Round Rock will host athletes of all ages and skill levels for the Spikeball Tour Series Championship. Both events will take place at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.
The Round Rock Multipurpose Complex takes home the gold as Round Rock’s premier outdoor facility. Located on 68 acres, this dynamic facility is home to ten immaculate fields including four natural grass multipurpose fields, one natural grass championship field, four synthetic turf multipurpose fields, and one synthetic turf championship field.
The fields can be configured for outdoor sporting events of all types and sizes like rugby, football, and Ultimate. The luxury amenities of the Multipurpose Complex include Musco sports lighting on all of the fields, shaded seating, over 900 parking spaces, and more that keep players and coaches coming back year after year.
