1st – Hayward Field
In its 100-year history, Hayward Field at the University of Oregon has become the nation’s most storied track and field venue. The reimagined Hayward Field is a world-class track and field facility giving athletes an unparalleled stage, while giving fans a theater for track, with comfortable seats, in-stadium amenities, amazing sight lines, and intimacy to competition. While the stadium is not new to elite events, including seven Olympic Team Trials and a dozen USA Track & Field (USATF) Outdoor Championships, 2022 was the greatest year of track and field in Oregon’s history, as the venue hosted a dozen elite events over the past year.
2nd – Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater
Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater is a Sports Facilities Companies-managed world-class facility that includes a 100,000-square-foot indoor facility for hosting multi-court sports tournaments, trade shows, banquets, and community events. The indoor facility also has a fitness center, group exercise studios, an indoor walking/running track, racquetball courts, locker rooms, an indoor lap/competition pool, meeting/party rooms, and a concessions area. The facility also features outdoor turf fields for baseball, softball, soccer, football, and lacrosse as well as a miracle baseball field. 3rd – Round Rock Multipurpose Complex
Introducing the newest game-changer for the ‘Sports Capital of Texas.’ Located within Old Settlers Park, the 60-acre Round Rock Multipurpose Complex is the fourth facility to open in Round Rock, giving the city the capability to host new outdoor sporting events of all sizes and types. It is an expansion of Old Settlers Park and allows for immense flexibility in sporting and tournament types. The complex’s field configuration is versatile and has different sizes and ground options.
