Erie to host broomball and women’s bowling tournaments this weekend

Hundreds of athletes and spectators are expected in Erie this weekend as the city welcomes two major sporting events—the Mid-Atlantic Broomball Tournament and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women’s Bowling Round Robin Tournament. The Mid-Atlantic Broomball Tournament, organized by the Pittsburgh Broomball Club, will take place at LECOM Sports Park. The event will feature men’s and women’s teams competing in full-ice tournament play under the latest American Broomball Alliance rules.

The Erie Sports Commission had its 10th annual Sports Tourism Awards Dinner, an event to recognize the efforts of those who had an impact on Erie County sports tourism, at the Erie Sheraton Bayfront Hotel on Feb. 5. Registration now open for 9th annual Lake Erie Cyclefest

Erie Sports Commission awarded state grant for Major League Fishing
