COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Lincoln, Neb., is confirmed as the host city for the 2026 WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD U.S. Open, from July 23-26.
The event will take place at the Lincoln Sports Foundation, a site spanning over 100 acres that hosts both indoor and outdoor tournaments. Sixty of those acres are professionally maintained fields designed to welcome the best young archers in barebow, compound, fixed pins, and recurve categories.
“We’re really looking forward to it,” says USA Archery CEO, Rod Menzer. “I think people are excited to go there. It’s a college town and a winning town. So, our athletes get a chance to go and see what Husker hospitality is like. And this event keeps getting bigger and bigger.” His enthusiasm is echoed by Derek Bombeck, director of sports with Visit Lincoln
“We have a great facility in the Lincoln Sports Foundation, and we’re just excited to bring the event to Lincoln,” Bombeck says. “We want to be as creative as we can to make it unique to Lincoln and just blow it out of the water to make sure all the contestants and participants enjoy their experience in Lincoln, and want to come back for future years.”
