HARRISBURG, Pa.—The Obstacle Sports Expo will bring the largest multi-event ninja competition in the world to Harrisburg this summer, featuring three major international championships and drawing thousands of athletes.
The event is scheduled for July 11-16, 2026, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, where the 172,000-square-foot GIANT Expo Hall will host more than 2,000 competitors from 41 states and 21 countries. Athletes will compete across a variety of obstacle courses and formats at the Ninja World Cup, the FINA World Championship, and the UNAA World Championship.
“Hosting the Obstacle Sports Expo is an exciting opportunity to spotlight on a global stage both an emerging sport and everything our region has to offer,” says Gregg Cook, executive director of the Hershey Harrisburg Sports & Events Authority. “The economic impact will be felt throughout our community, while visitors from around the world get to experience our incredible attractions and hospitality.”
The Ninja World Cup, hosted by USA Ninja, will take place July 13-16 and feature a dual-lane, 100-meter head-to-head racing course. The event is designed to appeal to fans of televised obstacle competitions, with athletes racing side-by-side to complete the course.
The FINA World Championship will run July 11-13 and include three separate events focused on speed, endurance, and head-to-head racing. Competitors will participate in individual races as well as a round-robin format on the organization’s Ninja vs. Ninja course.
The UNAA World Championship is set for July 14-16 and will allow athletes two attempts on the course, with top performers advancing to a final run. The competition is known for its rope climb finish and will also include a 3K obstacle course race and a team-based ninja event.
Spectator tickets will be available in advance and at the door, with admission covering all events scheduled for a given day. Organizers also said volunteer opportunities will be offered for those interested in participating behind the scenes.
