1st – 2024 AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships
The AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships has been a premier event in the amateur sports world for the past 50 years. In 2024, the 51st edition of the event is more anticipated than ever before, as the number of participants is expected to grow once again—especially on the boys’ side. In 2023, the 50th AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships saw 953 boys’ teams participate, the largest boys’ nationals to date, and 4,468 girls’ teams. In total, 95,000 athletes and coaches converged at the Orange County Convention Center in 2023, marking the largest year yet.
2nd – 2024 Conference USA Basketball Championships
Conference USA is teaming up with the city of Huntsville, Alabama, to brings its premier basketball event to the Rocket City. The Huntsville/Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Huntsville Sports Commission, along with Knight Eady, will partner to bring NCAA Division I basketball competition to the largest city in the state of Alabama. The 2024 Conference USA Basketball Championships takes place March 12-16, featuring 18 men’s and women’s basketball teams, playing 16 games with CUSA titles and NCAA automatic bids on the line. Look forward to five days of exciting hoops action at Propst Arena.
3rd – US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup
Enjoying its 16yh year in 2024, US Youth Soccer’s Presidents Cup provides a progressive, competitive experience to teams that might not otherwise get the opportunity to participate in a series of unique experiences highlighting competition, camaraderie, and community from the state to regional to national levels of US Youth Soccer. US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events will determine the regional qualifiers that will compete in the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup in late-July. Regional winners in the 13U through 19U groups, both boys and girls, will vie for the national title.
