Girls Football Tournament
The all-female football tournament will take place in Montgomery County on Aug 10-11, 2024.

MONTGOMERY, Penn.—Flag Football Life’s We Run the World Flag Football Championships is returning to the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken on Aug. 10 to 11. The event will feature a record-breaking 197 female youth teams with players representing 18 different states and three countries. Other highlights: 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u to 17u girls, 10-plus, three-pool play on Saturday, and single-elimination bracket on Sunday.

On Saturday evening, the Philadelphia Eagles will host a college showcase with collegiate coaches in attendance and appearances by world gold-medalist in Flag Football Sheneika Comice.

Open to the public with an anticipated 2,000 athletes and spectators, the event has grown to utilize seven full-size turf soccer fields, which equates to eight five-versus-five flag football fields, and include awards: finalist medals, championship rings, Most Valued Player, and Coach accolades.

“The Valley Forge Sports Commission and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) are so proud that Montgomery County, PA, remains the home of this event year after year,” says Jon Scheuren, director of Sports for the VFTCB. “Events like this contribute to the growing momentum behind women’s sports. And with outdoor fields and competition-level synthetic turf, The Proving Grounds is the premier Mid-Atlantic multi-sport tournament complex.”

The expected positive economic impact from the event is more than $1.5 million.

Flag Football Life is a sports lifestyle brand that hosts leagues and tournaments throughout the east coast with a goal of putting on high-level events for athletes, according to Mike Reimel, Owner of Flag Football Life.

“We wanted to highlight women with their own event,” says Reimel. “The sport is continuously growing—now a collegiate sport for females at NAIA colleges and a female-sanctioned high school sport in multiple sports—so we’re happy to be a part of it.” For more information, visit FlagFootballLife.com.
