ERIE, Pa.—The Race of Champions, known as “The Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing,” is set to return to Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., this weekend, with three full days of racing from Friday through Sunday.
The main event takes place Saturday, as the Race of Champions Modified Series 250 headlines the action. The 250-lap race, which begins following a full slate of qualifying and support races starting at 2:30 p.m., offers a $15,000 prize to the winner.
“This is the biggest weekend we’ve ever had at Lake Erie Speedway,” says Joe Skotnicki, manager of the Race of Champions Modified Series. “Drivers, teams and fans will come together not only for great racing, but also for a celebration of history, tradition and community.”
