SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash.—Two youth soccer tournaments will bring teams from across the region to Snohomish County this fall, with the Mukilteo Turkey Shoot scheduled for Nov. 20-22 and the inaugural Washington Rush NEXT GEN CUP set for Dec. 12-13.
Organized by Mukilteo Youth Soccer Club (MYSC) and Washington Rush, respectively, the tournaments will welcome youth athletes, families, and coaches to soccer facilities in Everett and surrounding communities, supporting Snohomish County’s growth as a youth sports destination.
The Mukilteo Turkey Shoot will feature recreational boys’ and girls’ teams in the U9-U16 age divisions. Games will take place at Phil Johnson Ballfields and Kasch Park in Everett, as well as Lynnwood High School in Bothell. The tournament will include certified referees and, where possible, guarantee at least three games per team. Kasch Park will serve as the tournament headquarters, with food and beverage vendors and merchandise available on site.
Washington Rush will host its first NEXT GEN CUP on Dec. 12-13, featuring boys’ and girls’ teams in the U8-U12 age divisions. Matches will be played on artificial turf at Kasch Park Athletic Complex and Phil Johnson Ballfields in Everett. Each team is guaranteed three games, and medals will be awarded to winners and finalists.
“It is exciting to have two youth soccer tournaments this fall,” says Tammy Dunn, executive director of the Snohomish County Sports Commission. “With Seattle hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 games in June 2026, it created “soccer mania” for the region. To have one of the youth soccer tournaments new for 2026 is a great opportunity for more youth to play soccer in Snohomish County.”
