Ann Arbor Sports Commission welcomes Zachary Buck as sports event manager

Zachary Buck has joined the Ann Arbor Sports Commission as sports events manager.

ANN ARBOR, Mich.Destination Ann Arbor and the Ann Arbor Sports Commission have announced Zachary Buck’s appointment as sports event manager.
Buck has a broad background in the sports industry, having worked with organizations such as the NFL’s Detroit Lions, the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL, and most recently, Playfly Sports. At Playfly Sports, he worked with Eastern Michigan University to manage ticket sales, service, and operations for concerts and athletic events.
Before his role at Playfly Sports, Zachary served as ticket operations and service manager for the Griffins, where he managed various ticket sales operations, customer service initiatives, and maintained ticketing and CRM databases. He also gained experience with the Lions, where he used ticketing software to drive ticket sales and provided assistance in ticket fulfillment and customer service. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Eastern Michigan University.
