All-Women Aurora Games Back in Albany for 2021 and 2023 Events

ALBANY, N.Y. – The Aurora Games, a competition celebrating the best in women’s sports, will return to the Times Union Center in Albany in 2021 and 2023, following its successful debut there in August, 2019.

CorpCom Exhibits & Events will be the official Aurora Games Fan Zone sponsor for the Games, billed as the first-of-its-kind, international all-women’s multi-sport competition and entertainment festival featuring world-class athletes.

The women who competed in Albany, “showed why they’re some of the best athletes in the world and demonstrated why they deserve an exclusive platform to showcase their outstanding talents,” said Jerry Solomon, Aurora Games executive producer.

The Aurora Games also featured “Conversations with Champions,” a 12-part series of workshops on women’s sports and empowerment held in the Albany Capital Center. The keynote speaker was Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who gained international attention while presiding over the sentencing of former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar.

Planned as a biennial event, the first Aurora Games aired live on ESPNU and ESPN3. The Women’s Sports Foundation is the official charity partner of the Aurora Games.
