Graham was previously with Morris Communications as corporate director of events and associations and oversaw the National Barrel Horse Association, the Augusta Cutting Horse Futurity and the Hippodrome Events Complex. He was also previously the executive director of the Professional Disc Golf Association and a 12-year veteran of the sports tourism industry.

In other news from Augusta, the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau will be renamed Augusta & Company, according to a release by Jennifer Bowen, vice president of destination development for the CVB. The purpose of Augusta & Co. will be to show people the best parts of Augusta in a building that connects them with the activities, artists and businesses in the area. The location will contain a meeting and event space available for booking, rotating selection of local merchandise, samples of local beer and spirits, Augusta-branded products, local art and a section that tells Augusta’s story through a collection of themes such as history and outdoor activities. City ordinance does not currently allow the organization to obtain a license to sell alcohol.
