
BRIDGEPORT, W.V. — Droo Callahan has been selected as the general manager of the Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, W.V. The Bridge Sports Complex is set to open in 2021 and will be managed by Sports Facilities Management (SFM).
Callahan had a 10-year professional soccer career before managing Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Mich.
The Bridge will feature 156,000 square feet of multipurpose space with basketball and volleyball courts, an indoor turf arena and a 25-meter pool in addition to a play climb area, team and corporate meeting rooms, on-site concessions and a fitness center.
The Bridge is expected to bring quality competitions and tournaments to the region and provide the city and residents with programming and membership offerings.
Callahan was hired by the City of Bridgeport following a national talent search.
