Visit Salt Lake’s 2nd Annual Salt Lake Winter Roundup returns Feb. 8, 2025

The second Salt Lake Winter Roundup returns on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Salt Lake. The event is in partnership with the Days of ’47 Rodeo, and the all-day event will transform West Temple, between City Creek Center and Abravanel Hall, into a vibrant western hub celebrating Salt Lake’s rich heritage in sports, arts, and culture.

Birmingham selected to host 2025 USA Judo Senior Nationals

USA Judo’s 2025 Senior National Championships will be held in Birmingham, Ala., from May 24-25. More than 600 participants are expected. The Shiai competition will be held on Saturday, May 24, and the Kata Nationals will be held on Sunday, May 25.

D1 Training announces Dom Bonvissuto as director of media

D1 Training, a sports training facility, appointed Dom Bonvissuto as director of media and content. In his new role, Bonvissuto is responsible for overseeing and implementing D1’s national content strategy and helping establish the brand’s voice and tone. He will also lead a national email newsletter for D1 and work with the company’s 115-plus franchise locations and more than 30,000 member athletes.
