Erie to host broomball and women’s bowling tournaments this weekend

Hundreds of athletes and spectators are expected in Erie this weekend as the city welcomes two major sporting events—the Mid-Atlantic Broomball Tournament and the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women’s Bowling Round Robin Tournament. The Mid-Atlantic Broomball Tournament, organized by the Pittsburgh Broomball Club, will take place at LECOM Sports Park. The event will feature men’s and women’s teams competing in full-ice tournament play under the latest American Broomball Alliance rules.

Wichita to host Kansas’ first USA Judo National Championship in 2026

For the first time ever, a USA Judo National Championship is coming to Kansas. Visit Wichita announced that the city will host the 2026 USA Judo Youth Nationals at the Century II Convention Center’s Bob Brown Expo Hall from March 14–15, 2026, with weigh-ins scheduled for March 13.
