Champions Cup Futures Soccer Features Top International Youth

NEW YORK – The second annual International Champions Cup (ICC) Futures Tournament will feature 36 teams from nine countries and be held at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., the Relevent Sports Group (RSG) has announced.

Taking place from Dec. 11 to 15, this year’s tournament includes top U-14 players in the boys’ division and, for the first time, the top U-15 players in the girls’ division.

“The International Champions Cup Futures tournament is the best collection of youth talent on the planet,” said RSG executive chairman Charlie Stillitano.

Organizers say the tournament is a good test for young American players to see how they fare against strong international competition.
