LOUISVILLE, Ken. — Cleo Battle has been named the new president and CEO of Louisville Tourism. He will assume his new responsibilities on July 1.
Battle replaces president and CEO Karen Williams who recently announced her retirement after 30 years at the convention and visitor’s bureau.
Battle has been eight years at Louisville Tourism and was named COO in 2019. Prior to joining Louisville Tourism, Battle spent 17 years at the Richmond Convention & Visitors Bureau in Virginia. He also leads the Black Tourism Advisory Council.
