HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Bryan Thrift of Shelby, N.C. claimed the title of FLW Cup Champion at the FLW Cup on Lake Hamilton recently.
Thrift brought a five-pound bass limit weighing 10 pounds, 13 ounces to claim the title, winning by 5 pounds, 1 ounce over Kyle Walters of Grant Valkaria, Fla. Thrift won the top prize of $300,000.
The 2019 FLW Cup at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs was hosted by the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism along with Visit Hot Springs. Total attendance for the three-day event was 67,453 fans. The event was held at the Bank OZK Arenas and final weigh-ins featured on big screens at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Television coverage of the event will premier this fall. The FLW television spot airs each Saturday at 7 p.m. EST on the World Fishing Network (WFN) to an audience of more than 63 million households.
