The Hillsboro Hops announced in September that Hillsboro’s Ron Tonkin Field have been chosen to host the 2017 Northwest League vs. Pioneer League All-Star game next summer.
The two days of All-Star festivities will include a home run derby, Fan Fest and the All-Star game itself. Sixteen cities and 14 MLB affiliations will be represented.
With back-to-back Northwest League championships in 2014 and 2015, the Hops have become one of the model franchises in all of minor league baseball, supported by a passionate fan base and state-of-the-art ballpark.
A detailed schedule for the two days of All-Star festivities will be revealed this fall, as will details for how fans can get tickets to the game and the accompanying festivities.
