Run the Beach 2017 Slated for Nov. 25

GULF SHORES AND ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – The Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Coastal Half-Marathon, 5K and 1-mile Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 25. The race concludes a successful three-race series, which is planned to continue in 2018.

 

The Coastal Half-Marathon will take place on Thanksgiving weekend providing families with a chance to visit the beach for the holiday.

 

Late registration and packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 24 at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex from 6:30-7:30 a.m.

 

Food and drinks will be provided by Cosmos Restaurant and Bar, Krispy Kreme, Publix and Coca-Cola immediately following the race. Participants are encouraged to donate canned goods to benefit the Christian Service Center in Gulf Shores tying in with the season of giving.

 

Run the Race 2018 will include the Big Beach Half-Marathon on Jan. 28 followed by the Sea Turtle Half-Marathon on Feb. 17 and the Kaiser by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Coastal Half-Marathon on Nov. 24.
