Spikeball National Tour to make its debut in Monroe, Washington this July

SNOHOMISH, WA. – The City of Monroe has been selected to host one of the 10 Spikeball National Tour Series event set for 2021.

The tour dates are July 24 and 25 at the Skykomish River Park, and this is the first time the series has come to Snohomish County.

The tour format includes contender and premier/pro divisions and will be two days. There will beginner, youth, intermediate and women’s divisions, and these divisions will be spotlighted on Saturday, July 24. Teams from across the United States will compete in best of three matches, and registration is open to all ages.

“Spikeball has hosted successful events outside Seattle over the past few years. We are very excited to increase our awareness and bring some great competition to Snohomish County and the beautiful Pacific Northwest in 2021,” said Nora White, senior national event director of Spikeball.

“Spikeball is one of the sports which is trending in popularity in the last couple of years. It is exciting to host this national tour for the first time in Monroe,” said Tammy Dunn, executive director of Snohomish County Sports Commission. “By hosting the Spikeball event, we are hoping the sport will grow locally and regionally over the next couple of years.”
