
CINCINNATI, Ohio—Sports ETA announced Christina Velasquez as its new director of education and research.
Velasquez has almost 10 years of experience in professional education and research. She previously served as the director of education at the American Academy of Optometry. In her new role, she’ll be focusing on enhancing the professional development of Sports ETA through educational programs and research initiatives. She will also oversee the delivery of educational content, certification programs, and industry research.

Her vision for elevating education and research aligns perfectly with our mission to empower sports events and tourism professionals. Velasquez will also collaborate closely with members, subject matter experts, and industry partners to deliver high-quality programming at all Sports ETA events, such as the annual Symposium and Summits.
