PORTLAND, Ore. — TrackTown Youth League announced that it is canceling the 2020 regular season based on the recent guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) limiting the size of public gatherings for eight weeks.
Many of the scheduled events would have taken place during that time frame.
“While it brings us great sadness to cancel the season, the safety of everyone associated with this program is our number one priority,” TrackTown Youth League CEO Michael Reilly and Jim Etzel, CEO of Sport Oregon posted in the update.
