Drone Racing League (DRL) Brings High Speed Drone Racing to
Biosphere 2

The Drone Racing League (DRL), the pro drone racing sport,
announced that the third race of the 2018 DRL Allianz World Championship season
will be at the University of Arizona (UA) in Oracle, Arizona, at Biosphere 2,
Saturday, March 24 at 6 p.m. (PST).
DRL will take over the world’s largest earth science facility, which
will be theatrically lit with thousands of brightly colored LED lights
enhancing the structure. Twelve elite FPV (First Person View) pilots will fly
custom-build DRL drones in excess of 90 miles per hour through a complex,
three-dimensional racecourse for a chance to compete in the season finale in Saudi Arabia.

On Saturday, March 24, UA Biosphere 2 will host a special full-day event focused on the 4th Industrial Revolution, the era bringing together the physical, digital and biological worlds. The special event is scheduled for 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
