NCAA Announces Future Championship Sites

With more than 3,000 bid submissions from schools, conferences, commissions and cities trying to host the NCAA’s 90 championships, only 613 sites were awarded this round.
Forty-three states were selected to host at least one round of a championship with Pennsylvania receiving 53 of the events. The championships will be held from 2017-18 through 2012-22 seasons.
Florida and Indiana were awarded 51 and 41 championships respectively.
Division I baseball, Division I softball, Division I men’s and women’s outdoor track and field championships were not included in this bid cycle. The sixth championship, Division III women’s ice hockey, does not select predetermined sites.
