
The SportsEvents Media Group division (www.SportsEventsMagazine.com) is hiring for a full time print and digital advertising, and sponsorship sales position. We understand that a great sales team is necessary to drive business for each and every client across the U.S. Our mission is to earn custom loyalty and produce quality products.
This position is full time and involves:
-Executing on all phases of the sales cycle such as lead generation, prospecting, research, proposal generation, campaign implementation, account management/optimization, and follow up
-Implementing all stages of the sponsorship sales cycle such as sponsorship creation, prospecting, research, proposal generation, follow up and servicing of sponsorship
-Distribute qualified leads to clients as needed
-Achieving monthly advertising sales goals and annual sponsorship sales goals
-Ability to visit clients and attend trade shows representing the company as needed (Approx. 20% Travel)
-Effectively servicing existing and new clients, assure satisfaction and maintain customer retention
-Accomplish approximately 20 quality calls/client contacts per day
-Responsible for client account database management, must incorporate comprehensive notes on each client, input all proposals, convert contracts accurately, add invoicing/billing details in database and other information as needed
Qualified candidates:
-Must have the ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment and under tight deadlines
-Must be highly coach-able and willing to learn
-Must be able to work closely with staff in a fun team setting
-Must have a positive attitude and be willing to assist staff when needed
-Must be professional in communication style and appearance
-Must be customer service focused and make decisions that are in the best interest of the client
-Must have leadership ability, creative thinking and problem solving skills
-Must be a self-motivator and be able to manage time correctly
-Requires full time in the office (Excluding business travel)
-4 year degree preferred, not required
-1-2 years of customer service/ sales
-Knowledge of programs such in Microsoft office a plus along with social media, event sponsorship, digital and print media knowledge a plus.
