As the name implies, there are plenty of lakes (over 1,000) in Lake County. Lake Minneola in Clermont is home to the Clermont Boathouse and Clermont Waterfront Park, as well as a 1,000-meter and 2,000-meter course for paddlesports or rowing and the oak-tree covered shoreline provides spectators with a great viewing area.
